Serving the residents of Kamloops, British Columbia, and surrounding communities, the Downtown X-Ray Clinic is pleased to assist you with your diagnostic imaging needs. Our clinic specializes in general X-rays which are the most common form of diagnostic imaging used for medical diagnosis. Our modern digital image technology results in higher quality images and decreased radiation exposure to clients.
FREE PARKING
We know that parking downtown can be tricky. However, our Lansdowne Village Mall location offers FREE 2-HOUR PARKING for all of our clients. In addition, there is direct access from the covered parkade to our clinic, with plenty of handicap parking stalls close to the Professional entrance, located in the lower level of the mall (under London Drugs). WALK-INS WELCOME
No appointments are required at our clinic. Just come down with your requisition anytime at your convenience. Our wait times are very short even with the walk-in only process in place. SEE YOU SOON!
ALL REQUISITIONS WELCOME
Have you received a Diagnostic Requisition for an X-ray from another hospital, clinic or health authority other than ours? No need to worry as we accept all requisitions from all sources. SEE YOU SOON!
NO WAIT TIMES
We are proud to provide quick and efficient service at the Downtown X-ray Clinic. We can boast minimal to zero wait times as we are the only local outpatient clinic with two X-ray machines to serve our clients. Despite being open during the lunch hour, note that we are limited to only one Technologist at this time. SEE YOU SOON!
VISIT OUR FRIENDLY AND EASY TO ACCESS CLINIC
The Kamloops Downtown X-Ray Clinic opened in February 2011. The clinic is a privately owned facility (Lindsay Diagnostic Imaging Services Inc.), fully accredited and government approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, the Medical Services Commission and the Diagnostic Accreditation Program.
The service is free of charge to those clients with a Canadian Medical Services Care Card (excluding Quebec). Clients not covered by a Care Card (Out of Country, Pre-employment Medicals) are also accepted but there will be a small fee, usually charged to your insurance company or potential employer. All of our X-ray exams are performed by professionally trained and certified Technologists, registered by the CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists).
The Downtown X-Ray Clinic is a beautiful modern facility where you will be welcomed and treated with care and respect.
