ABOUT US

The service is free of charge to those clients with a Canadian Medical Services Care Card (excluding Quebec). Clients not covered by a Care Card (Out of Country, Pre-employment Medicals) are also accepted but there will be a small fee, usually charged to your insurance company or potential employer. All of our X-ray exams are performed by professionally trained and certified Technologists, registered by the CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists).

The clinic’s Chief Technologist has been employed in the field of Diagnostic Radiology for over 20 years and brings an abundance of experience, skill and competence to the facility. The part-time and casual Technologists are highly screened and equally as competent.  We take pride that our employees have been with us since opening in 2011.

The Radiologists who are responsible for interpreting the exams and overseeing the clinic, are fully registered and accredited with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and are employed by Interior Health at the local Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. Reports are completed typically within 24 hours.

We value continuing education for our staff. Ongoing training and attendance at seminars and conventions are provided by the facility to ensure staff remains current and knowledgeable of any technical advances in diagnostic imaging. Advanced digital technology is currently used in our clinic.  All of our images are securely archived with the Interior Health Authority..
